The Council Functions

In addition to the terms of reference stipulated in the regulations, the Board deals with the following issues:

1/  Refers to the Council of Academic Staff to approve the curriculum, systems and results of the examinations.

2/ Develops the necessary administrative systems for the implementation of the college's study and research programmes and plans.

3/ Approves the Results of the pre-graduate classes

4/ Makes recommendations to the Council of Academic Staff to grant academic grades and awards.

5/ Proposing admission requirements for Faculties, institutes and centres.

6/ Taking the necessary measures to conductand promote scientific research.

7/ Considers any matters as referred by the council of Academic Staff and gives a report on it.

Each Faculty, institute or centre has acouncil that is formed and regulated in accordance with the university’sregulations.
