GEN 216: Material Science :

 Metal constructions, chemical bonds linking molecular and atoms of matter, matter composition and its effect on material properties, physical structure and its effect on the properties of matter, metals and non-metals, equilibrium charts, electroplating, heat treatment. Polymers: rubber, fiber, plastics and their properties and use. Ceramics: soil, glass and materials molten in high temperatures. Ceramics properties and use.

GEN 218: Principles of Electrical Engineering:

Electrical circuit laws and DC circuits, Ohm’s law, Kirchev’s law, equivalent circuits, Thiphion’s rule, magnetism and magnetic circuits, induction and AC, phase relations, single phase AC, three phase AC, introduction to AC machines, semi-conductors.

Functions, differentiation, integration, remainders, harmonic, applications on fluids, static electricity & heat transfer in 2-dimensions. vector analysis special functions and partial differential equations, vector analysis (derivatives & applications), special functions, integral transfer, partial differential equations, 2nd order partial differential equations, solution using terminal conditions, application.
